Fatal Frame runthrough, part 5

So, really shortly:

* After getting the piece of Holy Mirror from the idiot kid in the clock, had to go unseal a door, find that the mask in the entrance was missing, and headed back to the Tatami room on the second floor. After saving the game, had to chase down the key.
* Said chasing of key meant another scripted fight with Blinded, not that I really minded because she's a relatively easy ghost for me.
* Had to go downstairs and take a picture to break another seal. Discovered afterwards that I really should have unlocked the door to the Burial Room, which would have made things much easier for me.
* Got to meet the Koto Room, and ran into a ghost that was definitely not Broken Neck. Goshdangit.
* Back to the safe, read the note, caught a Vanishing Ghost, and headed out to the balcony. Looks like there's an album by the tree near the Abyss now, so headed off to get it.
* And for some reason, had a battle with the Hanging Woman (Woman Hanging?). Her name is Yae. (From everything I've picked up from outside sources, Yae is Miku's great-grandmother. Which led me to spending all three times I battled her (same battle) to yell "um, your Great-Granddaughter here! Stop trying to kill me, damnit!")
* Solved a puzzle involving picking out the right doll. Got the mask that was missing off the Entrance.
* Got to go into a whole new section of the mansion. Picked up more masks. Well, I did on the second run; I got really lost the first time.
* One very nasty cutscene (how Blinded lost her eyes, ew) later, I had a battle with Blinded once more. Got through it with no damage!
* Met the Square Garden. Saved, solved puzzle, headed into Buddha Room to get the Mask of Reflection that I apparently needed.
* And then I met Yae's husband, the folklorist Mr. Munakata. Guess what! I spent that battle yelling "Stop killing me, I'm your great-granddaughter, damnit".
* The good news is, with that mask I was able to finally arrange the masks and unlock the door to the Blinding Room (which was featured in the nasty cutscene earlier). And get the Blinding Mask, which I knew I needed earlier in the night.
* So, back to the Demon Mouth (square room behind the Rubble Room), and heading off to see the Blinding Mask to its correct path. Another run-in with Mr. Munakata, this time running around the area around the pit that is the Demon Mouth. I felt like I was fighting Long Arms, except Mr. Munakata floats and is far too fond of saying "Don't Be Afraid" as he's throttling the life out of you.
* And after him, Yet Another Battle with Blinded. I think that's the last of her, though.
* Then into the passageway opened with the Blinding Mask. And now Kirie has gotten us a second time. Cue beginning of night 3!
* Night 3: Back into the passage way, battle with People Killed (3 of them), another Mafuyu cutscene (he came down via the Moon Well, which we learn about shortly), and then said literature about the Moon Shrine/Moon Well. Then I get attacked by a cloud of smoke that I can't see because of my brightness settings.
* Find that I need another plug for another puzzle. Back to the Buddha Room. Guess what! I get to fight the damn Family Master!
* Get to the shrine, solve the puzzle, and find we have to kill dead headless priests.
* So, um, off to kill priests.
* The first one is in the Cherry Atrium, and I kind of don't like fighting him because he seems the nicest of the four. And he's fond of throwing fireballs. Ouch.
* Second one is at the Abyss. Got a photo of Tomoe in her final moments and headed off to fight him. He has a nasty tendency to get his head back when he's right in front of you. Which doesn't help, because you can't shoot him when his head is somewhere else.
* Third one is in the Stone Garden. He killed me and I discovered I forgot to save at the save point. Ouch.

So, next will be trying to kill the priests again and getting to Priest #4. Apparently I also get two random ghosts in the Fish Tank room, and it would be a really good idea to get some film at the temple where I fought Mr. Takamine.
