Does Riko spend a lot of time at the temple? I'm sure she did when she was younger, but if she and Chiyo have different schedules it would be harder. Maybe her school is nearby? Or she could be trying really hard as of late to make sure Chiyo doesn't spend much time alone, which Chiyo's family would probably notice.

Poor Chiyo spends a lot of time freaking out. It must be really exhausting. It's really good for her sanity that she lives in a relatively secure and protected place.
