Found him!
Found the episodes of Kamen Rider Faiz/Phi's/555 that Uchiyama Masato was in. It's episodes 24-25.
Basically, here's what happens:
Kaido, coping with being rejected by Mari, sees someone committing suicide by jumping off a bridge. He rescues this guy who turns out to be an Orphenoch - a new one that just got made (Orphenochs are sort of like vampires that they create new Orphenoch out of humans). Feeling vindictive at the moment, Kaido takes the new Orphenoch under his wing and tries to get him to be a good Orphenoch and to kill humans. Later on, Kaido has a change in heart, but his student doesn't, and ends up getting beaten by both Kiba and Kusaka. In Kusaka's case, fatally.
Of note, there is a character named Kageyama in these episodes (though not Uchiyama Masato's character), and his character punches a woman in the stomach (which his later character in KR Kabuto, Kageyama, will also do).
The new Orphenoch.
He's been fished out of the river.
Kaido takes the new Orphenoch under his wing.
A lighthearted moment between student and teacher.
They've just pulled off getting the Kaixa and Faiz belts by pretending to be police officers.

When they're in their orphenoch forms, they can cast these strange talking shadows. Here's his.
