Fantasy Life i - first Life mastered
Just like the original 3DS game, when you accomplish enough to get to the rank of Master, you get something special.
So, I ranked up to Master as a Hunter, and I'm pretty darn sure that's the Master song from the first game, translated into English.
The ceremony is in the Capital in the tavern portion, not unlike how the Plushtones were at the tavern in Castele. (The Life Master was adorably awkward. It was like "what do I do, this person just ranked up to Master. Throw a party? Okay!")
It was clear Level-5 was going for the nostalgia here from OG players. Basically it's the same Plushtones (not named as such, but clearly so), same song, the same general "credits", except with new characters. Since this game lacks the "oh, here's all the people that you could talk to for this Life" from the OG, you get the Life Master, the assistant, Auntie Anne, and all the people who were in your tutorial quest.
(You of course get new equipment/clothes, like they seem to give every other Life rank - at least for the clothes, you get new/fancier tools/weapons every rank - but that seems to be normal.)
I won't be going for Hero rank as I have no desire to get all the stuff that would be at semi-Divine in the old game, but I'm going to rank up all the Lives that I've started to Master, and I've started 12 of them.
Also, I have about 37 more special flowers to go before I get a certain someone and then I have to friendship them up for their related rewards, so I have a while to go!
