estiroseWell, first lines meme. I decided to take a short break from trying to catch up on my NaNoNovel to post this. I've randomly chosen fifteen fics, and am posting the first lines from each. Can you guess the a) fandom, and b) story?
1. Summer set the box down on the floor.
2. Katie set the couch down in her new quarters.
3. "So, I wanted to see if I could really see you, and… I could," Kei said, and Mafuyu smiled.
4. Taiga looked at the activity outside his window, his fingers slipping down the blinds with careless ease.
5. Flynn and Summer watched Scott take Ziggy into the training room.
6. Her hands stopped just before they touched the cow.
7. It wasn't hard to ignore the bruises from the recent battle.
8. The rocks fall, and I die, sharp pain and heavy weight before I am knocked into unconsciousness.
9. Shroud had done many things in her lifetime, some good, some bad, in defense of her son.
10. "You'd have thought you'd never seen a naked body before," Maria teases him as the three of them rest.
11. Madison had sensed that the day was going to be extraordinary when she’d gotten up that morning.
12. Cam double checked the address in his PDA.

14. As Rei washed the dishes, she couldn't help but stop and watch Miku and Mio sit together, reading some old book that Kei had left when he'd visited his niece the day before.
