Mar. 25th, 2014 10:44 pmI never thought anything would pop "Songuisendus Anuncemise" (a tiny fic for Disney's Mulan, Yuletide and fairly popular) out of the 2nd position in terms of AO3 hitcounts, but "The Transcript of the Fear In Her Voice" (11k, Fatal Frame) just did.
I wish I had a clue why. I mean, I can see someone familiar with the game enjoying the story, but the darn thing has gotten over 200 hits in the last few days. I can't find anything by searching the web besides my Dreamwidth journal and its posting on AO3. It makes a really lousy walkthrough if that's what somebody's looking for (I mean, you could get through the game with it, but you'd be missing a lot of points). It's got no kudos and no comments.
This is going to make me scratch my head for a while, I think.
(And in the meantime, I'm signed up for Remix.)
ETA: After a little bit of poking, I've decided that somebody's (or several somebodys') browsers or other programs were malfunctioning and causing the really high hit count.
