AToku Prompt Fest is running until the end of June!

This is a promptfest for both Power Rangers and related series (and not-so-related series, like Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog) as well as Japanese Tokusatsu series (Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Ultraman, and others)

Take a prompt, leave a prompt!


You can leave up to six prompts. All prompts can contain up to three fandoms, three characters, and three relationships, but feel free to leave more fandoms/characters/pairings in the text.

Posting isn't moderated, but I'll be checking to make sure that the stories and prompts fit under the fandom guidelines.

All ratings are acceptable. The only rule here for stories and prompts is that they include one of the above fandoms.

Hey - posting for Rev. Apparently we can't request prompts that don't have canonical tags, and Rekka from Garo isn't a tag, and Madan Senki Ryukendo isn't a tag (so of course Juushirou Fudou isn't, because he is a Ryukendo tag)

Is there any way that the tags can be added?

And now with my own problems - Mystic Knights isn't a canonical tag, so I can't request that. And there's apparently no way to request any sentai season and its Power Rangers version. :(

I'm putting in a request regarding our non-canonical tags - it looks like for the moment the workaround is to not put it in as a tag, and just put it into the text of the request itself.

See above on the non-canonical tags, and can you clarify the second part? I'm able to add a sentai season and its PR counterpart....

What should we do if the season/series itself is non-canonical? You need to have something to put in the fandom tag.

I wanted to have a request that was "Any sentai season with a PR version AND the PR version of that season." So instead of having it be Shinkenger and PRS, and magiranger and mystic force, etc.

(Basically the request was due to [insert plot device here] two counterparts meet and exchange stories, etc. Really, I just want to see what happens if Jan and Casey meet. Or anyone from OO and Boukenger. Or Vida/Chip/Xander being freaked out that their counterparts are related.)

For prompting, it seems to be okay if you leave the fandom off (It allows 0-3 fandoms). I haven't tried filling a prompt, however. :(

Yeah, I don't think you can do that with tags, just in details. Leave fandom blank and just say that it's what you want. I tested a no-fandom prompt and I was able to tag with any fandoms, including non-canonical ones.

You're welcome! I'm learning a lot about running a challenge today. (The code is not really set up perfectly for what we want, but at least it's not impossible to use.)

*nod* The first time I ran Alpha I had so much trouble getting the matching to work up that Astolat ended up seeing my rants on twitter and had to come and help.
