Without being sure what you're looking for or how you want the scene to end...
In the situation of a harmless but unwanted suitor I want to get away from without insulting him, I might:
Say I'm married (probably won't work for your sennario).
Say I'm a lesbian (ditto).
Say I'm sorry but I'm late for work/meeting a friend/checking my invalid mother out of the hospital/WHATEVER and I have to go but will meet him tomorrow. (And not show up.)
Fake illness of an unattractive nature. (About to throw up, diarrhea, etc.) Variation: Have to go to the bathroom, then slip out the window or back door.
Ask him to go get me something to eat or drink (I'm hungry/thirsty/hot/feel faint) and run like hell before he gets back. This might work for your scene.
The only one I've done in real life is the "I'm married/have a boyfriend" thing; I usually just told the guy I'm sorry but not interested. Don't know how much help any of this is.
