Murkrow is/was a popular Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet competitive?

MURKROW?

I mean, I understand why - it's got an incredibly good set of abilities that make it a good starting/setup Pokemon for battles - but it still feels a bit odd (though happy) to see Murkrow, one of my faves, being popular for once.

Sometimes I feel like I'm one of this fragile, greedy crow Pokemon's few fans, so yeah, I am absolutely thrilled that Murkrow's gotten some limelight.

I would not have expected that either. How fun!

I'm not a competitive player in anything but PoGO (Silph Cups) so I don't know two beans about any main series metas, but it's always a delight when a first-stage or otherwise overlooked pokemon gets to step up and shine.

Nor do I, since I don't do competitive anything! But yeah, I love it when this comes up. I was just randomly searching for another video on how to use the Murkrow/Honchkrow series better in Pokemon Sun/Moon and it's like... "Murkrow is doing what? Bwah?"
