So, a quick bit of thinking while I read what the fellow who runs Pinboard.in says about migration #2 from Delicious. (Though I am going to rec the fic everybody else seems to be reccing, which is "The Morning After", crackficish, teen-rated anthropomorphic about Pinboard getting together with Fandom.

Oh, and I've finished part 4 of "Scent of Roses" and I have a good handle on what'll happen at some point in the plot, once I figure out how to get Gai out from under his team's watchful eyes. I expect that I'll have it figured out by next week and the plot will get to where it's going

Yuletide-wise, I know what I'm doing for 2 of my 3 slots (Final Fantasy II, presuming that the "small fandom in large franchise rule" still applies, and Forever Knight as a favor to somebody else). I'm unsure about the third, because Gokaiger is being covered.

This is what I know on the likelihood of nominations for fandoms I might write in:

* Obviously, FFII and FK are going to be in there because I'm going to nominate them. FK still has a fandom and I've gotten at least three possibles for FFII.
* Gokaiger is the only Toku fandom mentioned so far in the fandom post. It has 139 fics as of the time I'm writing this (we're probably one of the most prolific groups in Tokusatsu fandom), and I'm hoping (as is [personal profile] thesecondbatgirl) that it's small enough to qualify under the small-fandom rule. If not, there's hope it qualifies under the new fandom rule.
* Samurai's the only PR series nominated, but I know that the person is also nominating Turbo.
* I haven't seen anything about Tomorrow People, Starman or any other series I've written in the past. I'm hoping that someone does nominate in my Sekrit Fandom of Choice, because it's my "relatively big for Yuletide and saves the admins' sanity" fandom.
* I've read two books that were recced in the post, and am working my way through a TV series that someone recced that sounds right up my alley. (I won't say much about what I'm reading, but I will say that it's very interesting to read Pollyanna given my life experiences. It's also not a half-bad book, and it's available on Gutenberg for free.)
