I think it was worse - he was worth 100 before going to 1000. Which is still not a lot. (I think there will be probably something that will make his bounty shoot up to the level of everyone else's. People underestimate him a lot.)
I'm glad I got Gai's reaction to his own poster mostly right - he was, of course, thrilled to have a price on his head. Oh, Gai.
