Somebody besides me must have nominated Fatal Frame, because there are four characters I didn’t nominate! (I decided to go for the broad approach and get the main characters for the first four games.)
 
The four additional characters are:
Aso(u) Misaki (Fatal Frame 4)
Aso(u) Yuu (Fatal Frame 3)
Kurosawa Yae (Fatal Frame 1 & 2)
Munakata Ryozo (Fatal Frame 1 & 2)
 
Misaki is one of the three playable characters for the fourth game, and I love that she’s included because she’s the biggest living link in the game to the other games in the series. Yuu is Rei’s fiancé in 3, and I like him as much (if not more) as I do Rei, so I’m glad someone included him. Yae and Ryozo are minor characters that showed up in the first two games. Yae’s surname is Kurosawa in 2 and Munakata in 1, but the canon tag for her is her maiden name.
 
I see someone also nominated Kamen Rider Kabuto, as well as four sentais: Zyuranger, Timeranger, Shinkenger, and Go-Busters. I know I’m going to be offering one of these, and I’m not saying which one as I think I know who’s requesting and I’d like to surprise them. I haven’t spotted any other toku series (I checked Cutie Honey, Keitai Sousakan 7, Garo, and the Sailor Moon live action).

MMPR and JF were also nominated (I'm assuming MMPR will be ruled ineligible since, you know, it's been for the last 3 years and also is seriously too large.)

I'm really excited about Shinkenger, though! I wish someone had nominated Gaoranger, but I ran out of spots :(

I'm honestly tempted to challenge it myself, because the fact that MMPR has been too big for Yuletide has let us exist as a large fandom for a few other ficathons (rarepairfest, for example.) (And I mean, there are 813 completed works over 1000 words just about KIM, and another few hundred about Kat, so I'm pretty sure that we should be ineligible anyway.)

... On the other hand, the characters for MMPR are Adam, Rocky, Billy and Kim, and I would write the hell out of any combination of those characters.

(And I really want to go to whoever nominated it and tell them that Alpha is open and they should come play!)

Yeah. :( I'd have to look at ffn myself, but I suspect the same: MMPR is too big to play. :(

The problem with just looking at ffnet is that a lot of the earlier fics weren't tagged by season - which really skews the numbers. Plus the fact that characters overlap through seasons, and there's no real way of telling, but the existence of various archives + all that... yeah, we're too big.

I put it in the post. I'm not going to be really popular with the person who nominated MMPR if it's pulled, but I would rather the PR fandoms qualify correctly.

I really don't think they're aware of how many fics there actually are for MMPR!
