So, I got a notice today that one of my videos, which I had uploaded years and years ago, was getting restricted/ads placed on it by TOEI, and I was not being issued a strike. After some effort (it was on a Youtube account I hadn't logged into for years and years, for a short clip of Kamen Rider Blade), I discovered that it was being restricted... in Japan.

Given how many problems western fans have had with TOEI nonsensically removing stuff, this is a step in the right direction. I don't care if people in Japan can't see it; it's not for them anyway. I really think, as a someone who thinks current copyright law is evil, that they shouldn't restrict short clips, but I can live with them just restricting them so that their primary audience (Japan) can't watch the clips instead of buying them.

That being said, I am looking for an alternative to Youtube for further uploads.
