So, heading into chapter 6 of Fatal Frame 2.
There are three hostile child ghosts in Fatal Frame 1, and they can be pain in the necks even when they're just by themselves, which they are in the main plot. Fortunately, of the four fights between them, three of them are in fairly wide, maneuverable areas. (ETA: There's a fourth child ghost, White Kimono, but she is basically a guide and not hostile at all.)
In Fatal Frame 2, you get to meet the Kiryu twins. One is a girl and one is a mechanical doll in the shape of a girl. And in your first match with them, you get to fight them in a hallway. Oh, and may I add that the doll can't get damaged, just stunned? *sigh*
Needless to say, like all combats with multiple ghosts, I got throttled repeatedly, in this case by upset kids. Who are about five years old.
This would not be so annoying if, say, there was a save point nearby. Now I have to restart Kiryu house, which means about 4-5 pictures of the twins. Running. *sigh*
ETA: I did better in my second runthrough of the Twins. They didn't kill me this time! Now I have to go find a family altar room because one of them damaged a mechanism? Okay....
