Short notes

estirose* I've got about 5000 of my 60000-70000 words for my CampNano novel. Yes, April is going to be very busy. Other than for Final Fantasy Exchange, I'm not going to be writing anything that is not my novel.
* My dentist appointment is this week - tomorrow, in fact - and I have a strong suspicion that they might have to do some surgery. I'm surprisingly calm about that part, but I get anticipatory anxiety regardless.
* I'm trying the Pimsleur method and learning Swedish. So far, I can ask if someone understands English. I also know how to ask if someone speaks it, thanks to my multilingual family, which might be more useful!
* Work is having rather bad cutbacks. My job is secure, but I'm a bit stressed right now. (My Building Your Own Theology group has been helpful with the stress. We had a great time discussing stress in relationship to Salvation and Sin last night.)
* This means I'm rather cranky right now. Yes, now is not a good time to try to hold a conversation about my WIPs, as someone is discovering. Actually, I think I've added "If someone has postponed a fic because they feel they're being bugged about it too much, they likely don't want to be asked, even months later, if they're a) writing more of the pairing, or b) how the fic is going to end" to the list of "what not to do if you want more fic from a writer". I get that the pairing is extremely rare in English-language fic, but I've moved on from the fandom for the most part. /rant
* I'm currently working through the iOS port of the DS port of Final Fantasy IV. So far, I've discovered they have a cave entrance in a different place. Also, I can't find a dungeon to save my life. I will be making icons.
