I just noticed this evening that Webshots has come out with an official (if beta) client for the Mac. I was so enthused I bought an unlimited membership. In case you're wondering why I suddenly went insane and did that, for one, Webshots is hard to use nowadays without paying for, and secondly, with a 1440x900 display, I can't really do 800x600 anymore.
There are two downsides to the current Mac Webshots client. For one, the 'integrate with browser' feature doesn't work too well, at least not with Safari of Camino. You have to open the file to get Webshots to recognize it. That was easily solved with a simple change of default browser to Camino (it allows you to open the file that you've downloaded from the download window). And it doesn't change the desktop at random. Ah well. It's only a beta.
