Insane girl with power....
Feb. 6th, 2004 07:27 pm...Electricity, that is.
Yes, I finally have electricity at my new place.
However, now that *that's* been cleared up, my laptop's ethernet port is acting up. I'm not speaking faulty cable here; the same cable that I tested on my mom's 'chine is not being recognized on my Powerbook, and therefore I can't access the web via DSL. That would not ordinarily be a concern, but I *am* considering getting DSL/Cable for myself, and a faulty ethernet port is exactly what I *don't* need at the moment.
I'll try reinstalling 10.3 on the off chance that it's that (well, as soon as I find the install disks), but this is rather annoying.
On a side note, I'll be out of town this weekend, so Beth's running the CamFic list through this weekend. We also hope to have the next "Building Family" story, "Utopia", up sometime this weekend, assuming I can do cleanup and fix all of my faulty memory problems (my own, not the 'puter's).
