Aaargh.

Got another ant invasion this morning. This time, it looks like a colony with an opening somewhere behind the fridge.

To add to the fun, I discovered this while feeding Regan (my cat- actually, my mom's cat, but I have her now). And Regan is one of those beings who not only can gage when someone's upset without looking, but reacts exactly the wrong way. When I tried to get her away so that I could grab the ant-invaded garbage and make sure her food was all right, she got in the way. I figure she wanted to be where I was. It got so disruptive that I had to toss her into my bedroom and shut the door just to get stuff done.

While I was taking my ant-laden trash to the trash bin shared by my half of the complex, I noticed the place was stuffed full. And not stuffed full by just *anything*, mind you, but stuffed full of bits and pieces of the gas fireplace from the place I refused to buy in the same complex! I guess the new owners didn't care about having a gas fireplace that didn't work, either....
