Yep, got together the money and motivation to take Amtrak over to San Francisco, and despite some difficulties, managed to have lunch with her.
I don't travel by train too often, so I was glad when the following things happened:
1. My train station doesn't have the elderly post boards to announce when trains arrive.
2. It didn't rain in San Francisco, which is good as I left without a sweater or jacket.
3. Stitch managed to listen to me talk for two hours without running away, screaming.
4. I no longer want to pound the BART ticket machine whenever I'm buying a ticket. At least not for the same reasons.
