Apple.... *thuds head against bed*
Jun. 29th, 2004 04:47 amLooks like Apple's stomping over developers again. Not a good thing.
One of the features of OS 10.4 is "Dashboard", which looks like a cross between Apple's old Desktop Accessories (waaay back in OS 6, when you couldn't have more than one app running at a time) and a software program called Konfabulator.
I've blogged about Konfabulator before. It's a software program that's on my mac all the time. I use it for such exciting things as keeping a calendar on my desk, keeping an eye on the weather, how my wireless signal is, and a few other things.
I don't blame the developers of Konfabulator for being pissed off about Dashboard. Sure, it's a neat idea, but when you stomp over long-time utility developers, it's not a very good thing.
