Ooooh....

While my work situation hasn't been great the last few months, apparently I'm doing something right....

I got a promotion today (in civil service terms, I went up one classification and now have a II in my civil service title instead of a I). Now, apparently, I can go and handle second level calls as well as being your ordinary call center rep!

(Actually, I'm rather happy because it opens a lot more doors for me in state service, though it's considered polite to stick around a bit after they've promoted you.)
