Machiko Soga (Soga Machiko), 1943-2006

Soga Machiko (Machiko Soga), best known to English-speaking Power Ranger fans as Rita Repulsa (basically, they dubbed her role as Queen Bandora in Zyuranger with an english voice), passed away today. She was an active actress and apparently a designer. Apparently she'd been ill for the last year.

Her last role was in Mahou Sentai Magiranger (currently being adapted in Mystic Force, though I doubt she'll be shown), where she played Majiel.
