Remix Revival
Jul. 31st, 2018 06:47 pmIt's safe to say that 2018 has personally sucked for me. But I wanted to get back into writing and so I signed up for both Unconventional Courtship (which I will finish this weekend) and Remix Revival.
When I chose my fandoms-to-remix-in, I chose them mostly to potentially match up with people whose unlisted fandoms were ones I was familiar with. This worked, as I got a very lovely writer who has written in a lot of fandoms I know. I've even picked out a fic, just have to canon review and I should be able to write.
I suspect whoever got me did the same, because I was matched in Kamen Rider W, Stardew Valley, and the Project Zero/Fatal Frame series. It'll be interesting to see which fandom they choose. (Most of my Stardew Valley fics are Maru/Female Farmer, with two exceptions, my Fatal Frame fics are all over the place, and I'm sincerely hoping that someone remixes some of my toku stuff.)
(And in case you've been assigned my works for the main exchange or want to remix me for madness and are reading this, I'll just mention what I like to mention every year - please write for yourself, not me. I wrote my fics. You write yours. Also, if you write in Tokusatsu or what we sometimes call "American Toku" - Power Rangers and the like - please don't be intimidated by the amount of fic because there's a lot of it there.)
