Random things, 8/26/18

1. I... seem to be defending a gym in Pokemon Go? I spotted a Gym with only one Pokemon in it and thought, "Hey, I should see if I could capture this gym!" Two revivals of my Pokemon later, I now had a gym. I stuck my strongest CP Pokemon in it (an Alohan Exeggutor). I figured that I'd had my fun and someone else would topple the Pokemon an hour or so later and take the gym for their team.

Five and a half hours later, the Exeggutor is still in the gym... with three other Pokemon (a Clefable, a Blissey, and a Snorlax). Huh! (I expect to have my Exeggutor back in the morning, though.)

2. I am still working on my Remix Revival fic. It's not a canon I'm usually in so I've got a copy of the canon for review, and my fic seems to want to go in three different directions. But I'm confident that I can make it.

I have my eye on an author or two in Remix Madness, and that runs slightly longer than Remix Revival.

3. I picked up Fallout 3 GOTY, no mods yet. This will be interesting, since this is not my usual game at all.

4. I was sad to miss Power Morphicon, but it sounds like everybody had a great time. (tptigger was at least able to send some of the convention to me!)
