estiroseFour stories for me! I think I broke a record for most treats in a year this year. My main story, two full-length fics, and a Madness piece.
Two of these were absolutely beautiful fics for "Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon". The premise of the game is that you're an orphan named Seto (voiced by JYB) in a post-apocalypic world, and the man who raised you just died. Now you have to look for other humans. Along the way, you'll meet other people/beings, and also run across memory items, which are the last thoughts and memories of people who have died.

Summary:
This is a post-game fic that deals with Seto and the memory items, and why they're important to him. It also features a revived PF, and in the end of the story, they're on their way to meet up with Crow (presumably with a way to fix him). It probably won't mean as much if you haven't played the game, but it's just a lovely story and the author has things pitch-perfect.

Summary:
Seto gets sick, and PF must convince him to rest and get better. This is no small feat considering PF is a computer and isn't ambulatory at all. The author (who I think may be the same person as the one above) took a hurt/comfort prompt of mine and ran with it in a completely marvelous way.
The other two fics I got were for Ghost Soup Infidel Blue. I'm totally not surprised I got something in the fandom, even with my very exacting preferences, because GSIB doesn't exist and its canon is totally imaginary. Most fics in it are other parodies, exaggeration of fan tendencies, or deliberate badfic meant to amuse (not to mention the totally tongue-in-cheek wank and pretentiousness). I asked for writers to include Bipi the Medi-bot, and they did.

This is a very subtly malicious Bipi in a situation where Luke gets Space Vampire eggs implanted in him (thus the Mpreg label). Bipi does the best he can to care for Luke and the kids. Now I want Luke's Space Vampire kids being made honorary crew members. (And yes, I was laughing a lot during the whole story.)

Don't be put off by the spellings/typos; this is deliberate badfic where Bipi proceeds to kill everybody who isn't his staff, and even doesn't mind sacrificing them. It's definitely a parody of horror fic. The author obviously read every single word I wrote about GSIB (all in-character; I'll note the references after Yuletide is over), and included Bipi's assistant Nuri Kabe, nurse Jin, and very dead ex-nurse Rufus.
