I put in the post for discussing nominations that I wanted to nominate in Ghost Soup Infidel Blue. I like this imaginary series and its somewhat imaginary fandom mostly because it helped me get over some of my fandom issues, especially that I could really heavily disagree with someone and not take it personally - there's a lot of intentional wank in the fandom. It's been a hard lesson for me to learn (I hate conflict), and I am finally getting it.

Now, there are quite a few people who dislike GSIB for a lot of reasons (like it being a lame joke). Some of those people hang out on yuletide_coal. And aren't very happy about someone even thinking of nominating it. It's one of those times where I am glad that I've learned to step back. And if GSIB isn't eligible? I will happily nominate my other series that I wasn't sure of, which is the rather NSFW Sekirei. (TBH, I was thinking of Sekirei over GSBI anyway?)

ETA: I also want to mention that I think there are some very valid criticisms and good reasons for GSIB to be ineligble listed on _coal, and it being ineligible would make my nominations infinitely easier.
