"Okay, now I'm confused," Kouta said, looking from one girl to the other. They claimed to be from similar worlds, though there was a difference between each one. He was sure he'd get them all straight, in time, but at the moment, Zawame City needed him.
"I'm sure you'll get it, eventually." The most regal of the three smiled at him from the couch in the strange, hotel-like space. Her almost-identical sisters - one older than the other - had drawn up armchairs. "But now it's time to go home."
Kouta glanced around the room. It was almost empty, except for them and a pair of women conversing quietly over the sleeping form of a young man. Both of the other women kept sneaking glances at him.
"It's not a dream," the oldest of the three said. "But she's right; you have a life to live, and sometimes this isn't the safest place for people."
The third girl smiled sympathetically, as if she'd had to listen to this before.
"Let me get you to your right door," the first girl said, and Kouta let her, because this wasn't where he should be.
