Yes. I adore Takeru for being what he is, even if he is a bit generic. He'd definitely be spurring that whole conversation. Because it's only fair for Chiyo to know.
The funny thing is that Chiyo tries to not give herself away because she's afraid of being identified as Ganma (she's quite horrified by what her uncle Makoto told her of that world), since nobody in her family seems to have thought of the Ganma not realizing she's half one of their own. She tries to get away from Ganma incidents (even seeing Eyecons) as fast as possible and tries to get her friends to do the same. She might lose some friends after a couple of those incidents.
(I have this horrifying scene in my head of one of said friends being attacked by Ganma and Chiyo revealing that she can see by rescuing said friend. Which, if she's lucky, would get her reported to Alain et al and not killed on the spot.)
