Stardew Valley
Apr. 18th, 2016 09:36 pmI have been playing around with this game, and I finally got to marriage. (Stardew Valley is kind of a spiritual successor to some of the Harvest Moon games, though you can mine, fish, and fight monsters as much as you grow plants and tend to animals.)
(Incidentally, my character's name is Selma; her girlfriend is Maru (who is biracial). Yes, this game is at least LGB friendly, even if it kind of lacks in the T part.) I was not intending to have my character get married in the game at the start, but Maru kind of grew on me.

Maru's final cutscene before marriage. She built a sentient robot.

The flower dance (a festival in-game), where my character ended up dancing on the guys' side. This was just before I could buy the pendant I needed to propose.

Proposing to Maru. She took off as I was ready to hand her the pendant, so I had to catch up with her to propose. (The red-haired woman in the back is Maru's mother Robin.)

Random dialogue from Maru pre-wedding.

The wedding (including a misfire on a dialogue box)! My character is not wearing a dress for some reason, just her overalls.

And now Maru resides with my character.
