Yes, that is a new LJ icon. It's my first name (or as close as I come to it, since there is no "L" in Japanese) in hiragana script. I've probably mangled it, but it does look close to the drawings.

Anyway, The PRNS finale, "Storm Before The Calm" aired today, and let me be one of the first to post a fic on it. SBTC spoilers lurk within the LJ-cut.

The six of them sat on the Wind Ninja Academy grounds, waiting anxiously for Cam's father to finish checking over the returned Ninja Academy building. "It's really over," Hunter said idly. "Wonder where we go now?"

"Sensei says that there's no reason that we can't graduate at this point," Shane answered.

"That's fine for you, but what about us, and Cam?" Hunter asked. "I mean, we're Thunder Academy, and Cam's a Samurai. I don't think Sensei has the authority to graduate us."

"Actually," Sensei said, coming up behind them, "I can graduate anyone I want. And the Sempeis, I think, would agree that the six of you have completed the training needed to graduate from this Academy. Hunter, Blake, I have no doubt that Sensei Omino would find that you have completed your Thunder Academy training as well."

"So Hunter and Blake get to graduate from two Academies?" Dustin asked. "Dude, that's so sweet!"

Hunter smiled. Blake turned to look at Tori, who smiled at him, and he smiled back, ducking his head.

"And as far as we know, Samurais don't have academies, so I might as well graduate here," Cam said.

"From what your mother told me of Samurai ways, you are correct, Cam." Sensei replied, then paused. "But when you graduate, you are welcome to stay at the Academy and assist, as you were doing before, but in a more official capacity."

Cam nodded, picturing himself in the black-and-white of an Academy graduate. "Thank you, father."

"It is I that should be giving thanks to all of you," Sensei replied in a wise tone. "As should we all." He folded his hands. "I must return to my work now."

The six watched at Sensei left. "He had a twinkle in his eye," Tori said. "Should we be worried?"

Cam grinned. He'd seen that look before, and knew what that meant. "No."

"Okay," Tori said, and leaned back. "If you say so."

Eventually, the six relaxed, basking in each other's company. They had won.
