estiroseOne of my co-workers asked me to see if I could figure out why her computer wasn't communicating with her printer. It was a PowerMac 8600 running 9.1. I told her I wasn't sure if I could fix it, since I hadn't worked on OS 9 for a year or two, but I'd try.
Two hours, a lunch, and about five rebootings later, we figured out a combination of extensions and the simple fix of moving the USB cable to a different port, and she was merrily printing.
She's going to take me to lunch sometime.
I can remember the extensions manager on OS 9. I feel good.
