1. What is your pen name/nom de plume/author name/alias/handle?

Estirose. (I also went by, at various times, Blu Okula, Angel Island, and briefly, Ravenhyde, but I don't use them anymore.)

2. How did you choose it?

I was looking for a handle for my first RPG (one for Earth: Final Conflict). My character's name was Rosemary, so I somehow came up with Esti (S.T., my first and middle initials, also "esti" is the "to be" infinitive in Esperanto) and merged it with "Rose", so Estirose. The handle lasted far longer than the game did....

3. What fandom(s) do you write for?

Oh, gads. I'm currently most active writing Kamen Rider of various incarnations. Tomorrow People and Power Rangers are my next most currently written. I've written various Sentai, Earth: Final Conflict, Starman, Sliders, Highlander (both original series and Raven), and Forever Knight. I've also written a very tiny amount of Doctor Who, but alas, only in crossover (two 4th Doctor/TP drabbles and a 5th Doctor/TP in progress with TPTigger.

4. What fic(s) are you currently working on?

Um. An auction piece for kerravonsen with tptigger, with at least one other fic in progress that we really need to finish, and is very close to done.

I'm trying desperately to finish Arrogance. I need to grab someone who speaks English and Japanese (any volunteers?) for Mutsuki's dialogue, because I don't want to write fangirl Japanese if I can help it, and my Japanese (while better than most peoples') is not that great. "Losing Touch" is going slowly because I'm not used to writing Conner/Kira and I don't want to bug the person that's been helping me with it. In addition, as I mentioned earlier today, I have a followup to "Byounin" that's going on in my head, and Kageyama and Tendou trying to start a crack pairing.

ETA: Oh, and also two Blade ficlets, two Kabuto ficlets, and an undefined but funny ficlet for tptigger as well.

5. What fandom did you start in?

Starman, back in 1986 or 1987, a fic called "Scott's Secret" that will be 20 years old later this year/early next year. Yes, some of my fanfic is older than some of my readers.

6. What is your deepest darkest fic-writing secret?

I've written NC-17 rated fic (sex scenes), but I can't write sex without a co-writer. I think the universe is glad for this.

8. Do you have any fanfiction pet peeves?

Spelling and grammar. I've been known to be oblivious to a lot of OOCness, but spelling and grammar get me every single time.

9. Do you have an OTP?

I've been known to write several, but the one that's really in my head right now is Trip/Katie. Not only are they less controversial, and extremely rare fic-wise, but they're a cute pairing. Eric/Taylor is a runner-up.

10. If you could get someone to write a fic for you right now, what would it be?

I'd love to see more Kamen Rider fic. I know of about 2-3 other people who have written Kamen Rider fic that isn't original Riders. Particularly Kusaka/Mihara ever since Nalanzu got me onto that pairing. More Lisa-based Tomorrow People fic would be nice too.

When I find where I filed the rest of that fic, I'll post up more, but it has to be hand-typed since the print is a tad too faint for the scanner to OCR too well.
