"Unwanted Wings" part 3 is up, and I'll post a link to it later (you can currently find it by following the link for part 2 on the previous post).
My Kageyama/Tendou crack pairing is on hold while I work out Kagami's issues. Ditto for the followup to "Byounin", because while Ichijou and Godai really need to have a little *talk* about Godai's running-towards-the-danger tendencies, that is on hold until I, again, work out Kagami's issues. (And he has them. In fact, I think the guy has a lifetime subscription.) Ditto for the two Blade, two Kabuto, and one random ficlet I owe people.
Kagami set the damaged Zecter down on the table. It wasn't sparking, for which he was thankful, but the Zecter was apparently unable to do much besides sit there. He had a suspicion that it would be doing something if it could, but it couldn't. He'd deal with what it wanted later. Much later.
He judged that the Zecter was fairly extensively damaged and wasn't going anywhere. Besides, what it wanted was *him*, and he wasn't going anywhere either. It was no doubt smart enough to realize that he was giving it the access it wanted; he just hoped he figured out what it wanted to do next before it got impatient and did it.
Which meant trying to get as much data as possible without anybody in ZECT wondering why he was interested. If he was going to go through with this, better to know if he was getting in over his head or not, and if he wanted to do so willingly or unwillingly.
If worst came to worst... he'd destroy the Zecter. Or try to give it amnesia. One or the other. As long as it didn't come after him again.
