estiroseI need to add more icons. I have an entire archive of icons that I've made, but I can't make up my mind! (I mean, too many cute guys of various races, incluing one bisexual guy being bisexual, how can I resist?)
So, I'm including icons (20 of 'em), with why I like 'em so much, and maybe those who have to stare at these things on your Friends list might give me a hand on what you'd like to see...
Natsuki Frown 1: This was from a set of bases I did. I like it because of the blue splash that I accidentally injected into what was a very yellow picture. It draws your attention to the picture, and symbolizes Natsuki's unhappiness.
Masumi Fire 2: Another from the same set of bases. I think this picture was darkened out a little. Which was good, because it provides a nice contrast between parts of Masumi, the wall, and the fire.
Hard at Work: This was done for PR Icontest, but I like it because of the way the text came out, and the picture didn't come out half-bad either.
Trapped in the Shadows: This was my very first PR Icontest entry. I've done better since then, but it holds a warm place in my heart, plus I think I did darn well with both the text and the image of Cam.
Trip and Katie (no text): I just like this one because it's such a clear picture of Trip and Katie. They really do look good with each other....
Eiji - Confidence: While I'm still not really into Boukenger, I like Eiji's expression. Sure, the text is kind of wonky, but I like the words (a paraphrase of a Kamen Rider Blade quote, I believe).
Why am I here?: I like this one because, well, it's Mutsuki. And I like the text.
Smirk: This particular character is such a hoot. I like him. I also like what I did with the text, because it fits him so well.
Tachibana - Opening credits: I particularly like this shot of Tachibana from some slightly later credits of Kamen Rider Blade, and I thin I did well iconizing that shot. (The text at the bottom left hand corner says "Tachibana".)
Hiyori - Fragile: Hiyori does look fragile/elfin/fairy-like in this one, doesn't she? All I had to do, really, was add text.
Kagami - Day Breaks: This was part of a lyrics-based set. I couldn't resist the combination of the words and Kagami's expression.
Grey: Would you believe I was trying to get a decent shot of Kagami for this one? However, Hiyori and the ocean are so picturesque, it's easy to forget he's in the icon.
Revelations: Tendou and Kagami look decent together, and I really did a good job with the text.
Yaguruma - 'Round and 'Round: I like this shot of Yaguruma (heck, I like Yaguruma period), and I did do a decent job of bleaching his hair on this icon. This is from the same lyric icon set as "Kagami - Day Breaks".
Yaguruma - Where you end: This is from the same lyric set as above. I thought the lyrics snippet matched Yaguruma's mood so well as he realizes he's lost TheBee.
I blame it all: This was made for Crossing Lost RP, but it coincidentally fits my life as well. And I had too much fun doing that color backgrounnd...
Chris and Wyatt: From Charmed. I liked the screenshot and I had way too much fun finding that border.
Kiss: One of two Doctor Who icons I've made. Of course I had to capture this moment, and have a little fun besides.
Could We...?: One of my few entirely text-based icons. The text, I think, is from "Breeze Twice Blown". I like it almost better than my "Inside Out" based one.
Old Piper and Leo: I just adore this shot I made of this couple. It came out so darn well. And it proves I can actually do user icons that don't feature young cute guys.
I'm aiming to add about five icons in, but vote for as many as you want.
