I'm doing this from memory, but....

1. Choose a fandom
2. Put your music player of choice on shuffle
3. Write 10 fics during and related to the songs.

I did Kamen Rider Blade. Spoilers for entire series.

Where have all the flowers gone (Kenzaki)

Kenzaki stopped to smell a flower on his way down the coast. It was funny, he thought, how everything had a cycle, even the Undead's battle fight. Living beings were born, grew up, sometimes grew old, definitely died. For the Undead, it was a bit different, but then it always different with the Undead.

The Undead were not born, except in the sense of their birth from the Sealing Stone. They were reborn during the battle fight, should the world ever need one. But then again, it wasn't a true rebirth; they retained their memories, their enimities, everything else.

They still 'died', sealed by the Sealing Stone. And then they'd be reborn again. Except this time Kenzaki had foiled that plan, stopped the fight, stepped in. been born again as an Undead instead of a human.

As long as he didn't 'die', nor did Hajime, the cycle would not start again. Earth and humankind would be safe. He would prevent that from happening for as long as he could manage it. He knew he could.

Adia (Tachibana)

Failure.

Had Tachibana had some clue as to what Kenzaki was up to, he would have stopped him then and there. But it was too late, Kenzaki was gone, Kenzaki wouldn't be coming back. As a human, at least.

He understood *why* Kenzaki thought he'd had to do it, but he didn't agree. Eliminating Hajime was really the only choice. But Kenzaki had never thought straight about things concerning Hajime.

And now Kenzaki was gone, gone off where the new Undead couldn't be found, or tracked, or sealed. Couldn't be saved from what he'd become, his loss of innocence.

And so Tachibana had failed.

The Cuckoo (Mutsuki)

More than once, Mutsuki had wondered if he had been swapped at birth. He didn't belong with his parents, they didn't understand how he felt, didn't understand what he was. Rider now, protector of Earth. They'd think he was insane, already thought so.

It was time to leave. To no longer be that mislaid Cuckoo, get away from his parents. He had to establish himself as himself, as the Rider, as the Spider's Rider. To be who he was intended to be.

Mutsuki took one last look at that house, and left.

Tigers (Tigress)

She'd roamed for two years, looking for the Battle Fight, for her place in this strange new world of humans, rage building within her that these weak beings had become dominant instead of her own kind.

Then she'd met Mutsuki. Undead-possessed, pitiful, lost. He didn't play fair, he didn't do things honorably. The Tigress should have discarded him, but she didn't. She was drawn towards this human that was almost of her suit, something in her wanting to protect him, free him, allow him to live out his short little existance in peace.

Maybe she'd have a chance....

Flavor of Life (Nozomi)

She watched him, watched him lose himself and become something other, something that was not Mutsuki. Something that was alien and scary and not the one she loved.

Some would tell her to move on. But she wanted to be there, to be there for him. Mutsuki was the one she loved, and nobody could tell her any different. She would defy wisdom and be foolish and save him.

Even though he threw her away, she knew it wasn't truly him. Not Mutsuki. Whatever had happened to him, she'd be there for him. She'd make him see. Hard decisions were part of life, and her choice was to be by his side.

She just hoped she wouldn't grow to regret it.

Kisses Sweeter Than Wine (Kotarou)

He had dreamed of a life where he was married, not single, where he'd found the woman of his dreams and raised the kids while she went to work and earned the money. He had perchance thought of it when he met Miyuki, but those hopes had been dashed when she'd turned against him, used him.

She hadn't understood what it was to be in love, hadn't understood why he continued to save her. To be honest, neither was he. But he'd wanted somebody to have something in common with, somebody who liked him and cared about him, made his life a bit happier.

Maybe that was too much to ask.

But he still hoped. He dreamed of kids and grandkids and how he'd do things as he grew old, his wife by his side. Someday, maybe, he'd meet that lady. He hoped so. He wanted to be happy, make other people happy.

There had to be someone out there who could make him happy too. Somewhere. After all, a man could dream, couldn't he?

My Father's Mansions (Shima)

Shima was always looking for new experiences, new things, new people. He'd traveled extensively since he was unsealed, avoiding the Battle Fight and all the attendant difficulties.

What humans somehow didn't understand was how fascinating they all were, how interesting. They had different tastes in things, different beliefs, different customs. They were so willing to go to war for those things, beliefs, customs. If only they could see how similar and yet how unique they were, how wonderful they were.

Someday, maybe, they would.

Everything's Alright (Kotarou)

Kotarou tried not to worry too much. He was the one that tried to keep the Riders' spirits up, tried to make everybody relax. Mostly through his food, but other ways worked as well.

Kenzaki turned up bruised, so did Tachibana. He tended to their needs, tried to keep them cheered up. He was not a fighter, he needed them to fight, to be there for the world. Sure, there were other ways he could have spent his money, but it was all worth it. Sometimes Kenzaki and the others smiled. Sometimes they frowned.

But he would keep at it. Because if they didn't save the world, who would?

Into the Groove (Yazawa)

Yazawa bopped his way through Miyuki's plan. It sounded so fun, and would so allow him to be himself. The guy who had fun with everything, the guy who knew how to party and to dance.

Blade would be his, to have fun with before the man was gone. He'd tango with the human, and the human would die, like so many would before him. Just like the other human would die in Miyuki's arms. So fun. So good to do. So sweet.

Yes, he had to share his victory with Orchid, but that wasn't a big deal. They'd fight, dance, end sometime. Because all dances had to come to an end, and when this dance was at an end, it would end. And he would dance again.

I hope you dance (Kenzaki)

Kenzaki watched Mutsuki and Nozomi walk together, and smiled. The teenagers had barely had time together, in between everything that had happened. If Mutsuki hadn't been prossessed, he'd been nearly so, and he and Nozomi deserved so much to be normal teenagers, unaffected by the Battle Fight.

Someday, those two would marry and have children, in a place where the children were safe from the Battle Fight. Even someday soon, the Battle Fight would be over and they could start over on that dream. Nozomi had been faithful to Mutsuki; Mutsuki had been as much as possible to Nozomi.

It must seem like an impossible dream to the two of them. A world where Mutsuki was free, where he and Nozomi could be the normal people they'd been before the Spider had so cruelly interfered in Mutsuki's life, found him to have value as its slave.

But Mutsuki was a slave no more, and he and Nozomi would find that normal life. Someday.
