I'm debation on asking the finalauraburst mods to include estorise in the watcher journal. I'm of two minds on this, and some of it has to do with the current purpose of the journal.

Most of this is because I can be incredibly prolific, and it's sometimes hard to find things on this journal when I really get into a fic or challenge. I also am very fond of OCs, and of course, I might like the Shinodas for example, I'm sure that everybody else isn't attracted. I know it's my journal, my stuff, but I also want to be polite and not flood anybody. (To my knowledge, "Useless Things" has two readers, which makes it a good choice to be tucked into estorise.)

For that same reason, since I am a mod on FAB, I don't want to drive people up the wall by giving them too much fic.

But on the other hand, I don't want people to miss fic because it's on estorise and not estirose.

Bah. I need an extra brain on this. Or some feedback.

I'm happy to say I've been approved for a second round of [livejournal.com profile] drabble123 for Trent Fernandez, PRDT, and for [livejournal.com profile] pyramid_dares for Kurenai Wataru of Kamen Rider Kiva. I'm thinking of doing the 1986 American TV series Starman, too, once I either finish Trent or find a comm. Anyone know a good Gen challenge that's 50 or less entries?

(All of the challenges will be on [livejournal.com profile] estorise, of course.)

And finally, if you are interested in tokusatsu and the tokusatsu fan community, please think about modding [livejournal.com profile] finalauraburst. As you've probably all noticed, some of our updates tend to be spotty, especially on the weekends. Drop me a response here if you're interested.

I think I'm conflicted in a similar way (to put things in another journal or not). You're right, though, that people may miss posts if they're not on your main journal. Personally, I weigh my decision with my own comfort level. Usually, if my desire to have people to at least notice what I write wins out, a post goes on the main journal, even if there might be a possibility of me bothering someone. (I can soften that by filtering the post, but, still, if people never comment, I can't tell if it's because they don't like my posts, or because they just don't have anything to add.) But then I don't post as much as you do, so I'm not sure if this is helpful.

And I would read "Useless Things" if I'm not so behind on Kiva. :(

I would offer to mod [livejournal.com profile] finalauraburst, even though I'm not sure exactly what the job entails. But judging just from seeing the updates, though, I'm not sure I can do a good job of it. And my fear of spoilers would get in the way in any case.

Anyway, sorry that I don't seem to have the feedback you're looking for.

No, you raise some good points.

(And don't feel bad about not reading "Useless Things"; the prime reason it went on estorise was because part 1 has one heck of a spoiler for 28 that I really didn't want people to stumble upon by accident.)

The whole issue came up because I did put up an announcement about what I'd posted on estorise to estirose (which included 8-10 of "Useless Things"), and it got missed on FAB. And I like my stuff to be read, so I kind of have to figure out how to get stuff on estorise announced so the I'm not too annoying, but it gets included on FAB updates.
