Oh good, I'm still making mental connections that make sense, although it's probably not the best idea for me to stay up until I'm incoherent.
Perhaps it's just me, but I think Dr. K can be pretty threatening. She's also pretty clearly an authority figure, which again brings up the "would he stay or would he run" question. And what would he tell the orphanage? "Surprise I was recruited?" Or would he say nothing and just vanish?
