Whatever They May Be (745 words) by Estirose
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: はたらく細胞 | Hataraku Saibou | Cells at Work! (Anime)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Eosinophil Cell (Hataraku Saibou), Macrophage (Hataraku Saibou), White Blood Cell U-2048 (Hataraku Saibou)
Summary:
This was for Parallels, and I ended up matching on the anime Cells at Work! My recipient wanted the POV of various white blood cells about the other cells in the body, and I love Eosinophil, so it worked out well, I think. I had a random macrophage, one of the named neutrophils (U-2048) and Eosinophil all chatting with each other over hot tea. My recipient also mentioned wanting a scenario where white blood cells went rogue, so I put in an urban legend of neutrophils attacking the villi in the lower intestine. (The story got a bit distorted - they were some form of T-cells and not neutrophils erroneously attacking because of gluten.)
Tiny Stepping Stone (183 words) by Estirose
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Slime Rancher (Video Game)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Beatrix LeBeau
Summary:
The prompt came up just as I'd created my first teleporter set in my current playthrough of Slime Rancher. Teleporters give you fixed fast travel in the game. There are a few pre-set teleporters (two two-way teleporters on your farm to various parts of the game, several one-way teleporters back to your ranch, and three two-way teleporters to special mini-game areas) and about ten more that you can build and set up in various areas. So of course I had to write a very short fic about making it easier for Beatrix to get to certain areas of the Ancient Ruins and also to the Glass Desert!

Extremely fluffy Rin/Ruka The Expression Amrilato fic, because I could. Plus, this fandom needs more love.

Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Original Work
Rating: General Audiences

Summary:
I somehow ended up reading plot summaries/reviews of the game "The Suicide of Rachel Foster" (the gameplay footage appealed to me because I like urban exploration videos and walking simulators and it sounded like it would be suspenseful in a good way) and found out that it handled some issues in ways that were rather problematic. I was also struck by a fixit plot bunny. After mulling it about in my head, I decided the best way to handle my feelings and plot bunny was to make it an original work. (Also, I have problematic faves myself and I wouldn't want the only fic on AO3 in my fandom to be bashing something I like.)
So, one character became Isaac and completely reversed the canon character's views on a certain relationship in the game (and is also dead instead of the live person in canon), while the equivalent of Rachel died by the hands of someone else, and I killed off the canon POV character. (Oops.) Instead, I created an OC that made friends with Isaac one day and is now writing/coding a game to tell Isaac and Rachel-equivalent's story so that the two of them can rest in peace.

Whether it's for hot tea, good conversation, or just to take a break, an eosinophil, a macrophage, and a neutrophil sometimes manage to meet up and talk. This time is no different.

Angie came to the abandoned hotel one day, met a ghost boy, and is trying to bring him peace the only way she knows how.
