Okay, here's what's going on. There's no actual mpreg in the fic as it stands; the characters discuss the fact that one character, male, has to take birth control pills because he is one of a small minority of males who can get pregnant from m/m sex. (He's straight, and has no desire to be a parent.)

I think this came out of frustration with mpreg fics where the character is automatically happy or willing to have a baby/be in a relationship. This character is actually rather not interested in parenthood. There could be complications in there that make it hard for him to remain childfree, but the character himself would prefer not to be a mother/father.

(I realize mpreg is impossible. I just have weird muses.)
