(This was inspired by an advertisement for a gaming fandom Big Bang, so I'm expecting to write 7000-10,000 words on it, but I'm not participating in the Big Bang itself.) Currently in plot bunny status. This is probably gen, but I'm not promising anything.
2. Fandom: Kamen Rider Double

Description: What if mentor Narumi Sokichi had survived? In canon, Shoutarou and Philip had to survive and grow into their roles on their own, but what would have happened if he'd been there to step in? How would things have been different, and would they have been the people we see in canon?
3. Fandom: Kamen Rider Kiva

Description: Taiga introduces the idea of a Life-Energy substitute to the Fangire. Not everybody takes it well. Four chapters posted at http://archiveofourown.org/works/131250 . There's some discussed past noncon, thus the teen rating, but since this is a fic about two half-brothers getting to know each other in the middle of some nastiness, it's pretty gen.
4. Fandom: Power Rangers Dino Thunder

Description: In the middle of deciding what to do with his life during college, Conner realizes he's lost touch with his teammates/friends, especially Kira. I'm trying to consolidate this and finish it.
5. Fandom: Power Rangers RPM
Rating: teen
Type: gen
Description: There are things that Ziggy doesn't really want to discuss about himself, and stuff he doesn't want to admit he takes. This fic plays with the whole mpreg/Mr. Seahorse trope, but I'm exploring what it means to be a guy who can get pregnant in the RPM world (where they're living in the last city on Earth because a sentient computer virus destroyed the world, and the world is maybe starting to recover). This is gen because the character is in no relationships, teen because of the setting and issues involved. The current parts live at http://archiveofourown.org/works/175195 .

Commentary: I chose five fics, four in progress and one in plotbunny format, from a variety of different fandoms. I decided not to participate in

hardmode for the Final Fantasy II fic because I think that FFII is too obscure for it. I'm sure I'd be welcome, I just don't want the maintainer having to chase down an artist, so it joined the finishathon choices. #2 is "Shroud's War", which is kind of borderline as I started writing it for Yuletide NYR, but it keeps getting neglected and I really should get back to it even if I don't do it for that. #3 is "The Unstuck Country", which I need to get to as well, even if it doesn't get to 50,000 words. I might edit my signup to promise 7000+ words on it because it might be that epic.

#4 is "Losing Touch", one of my most-requested-to-be-finished fics. I normally don't include it on finish-a-thon voting because I am afraid that someone would choose it over the Kamen Rider fics because people have heard of PR and not Kamen Rider. But because I'm including another PR fic, I'm more comfortable including this one in this year. #5 is "Terolalaine", because I wanted another PR fic to fit in with "Losing Touch", and I'm afraid it would be swept away by the epic "Dreamt-of Call".

There's a ton of explanation on the one for Terolalaine because it requires a lot more explanation. "Shroud's War" actually has the longest teaser, but it looks short because I needed to explain the word count plans on the FFII plotbunny and the idea behind Terolalaine.
