estirosePlaying Sims 4, specifically a challenge called "Movin' On Up". I made some changes to the rules so... slightly modified?
(I have a scary amount of the packs - not all of them, though, and most bought on sale.)
So, the challenge is to work your way through a list of apartments and houses in the San Myushino world of Sims 4.
In order not to steal their thunder/rules, I'll make a note of what I changed:
* While you have to start with an empty apartment, you can add 0-simoleon debug items as long as they're worthless to your sim - for example, I added some cups my sim had to throw away. Your sim can also start with a nominal amount of money - 5-20 simoleons at most, enough for maybe one bit of food or coffee but not good for much else.
* For the first apartment, since your deposit is paid before you reduce your money, you either have to reduce your money by 600 simoleons or stay an extra 2 weeks.
* If you move in a partner, you have to get rid of any extra money they bring in and have them quit their jobs. If they have any belongings that come with you when you move, you must keep them in storage until you can "buy" them. (This addition to the rules brought to you by the fact that Penny, my sim's neighbor from her first apartment building, became my sim's partner - and to my horror, when I moved my sim to the next apartment she brought all of her nice stuff with her.)
* I play with the "you cannot hold down a regular job - you have to make all of your money from scavenging/painting/writing books etc" version.
