I picked this one up at some point and am currently maining it (along with trying to get somewhere with Dragon Age Veilguard).

It's described as a cozy survival game. In other words, you have to eat, but because it's a cozy you won't die of starvation. You can farm if you want, you can fish if you want, you progress things at your own pace. It has three levels of difficulty (what the game calls the "coziness level") where you can go anywhere from full survival to very cozy. There are enemies, but they're more a nuisance than anything else.

ETA: Forgot to add the premise! You wake up on top of a slowly crumbling highrise surrounded by water. Now you must figure out how to survive and see if there are any humans out there.

So, here are my thoughts:

Gender/Romance/Custom: Avatars are strictly binary (one male model, one female model). All of the other characters are machines (though your second companion asks if you are still in love with her) so I don't think romance is in the cards. Limited customization, especially at the start, but you'll get hairstyles/clothing options as you go along.

Starvation: Things will of course be a bit spare during your early days, but food sources respawn on a regular basis and once you get access to the 2nd area you can supplement your early food with fish (though you'll have to fillet it at the campfire/cooking station).

Sleeping: Only required if you need to regain health for some reason. Other than things getting dark you're able to do everything at nighttime that you could during the day.

Enemies: Three of them, any of which can deplete your health if you interact with them too long. There are several "pods"/mother plant type creatures that you can apparently contain but cannot destroy, along with their leech "children" which come out at night to eat plants, and the weeds that show up the next day were the leeches burrowed underground. Your "weapon" is weedkiller, which works on everything but the pods. Supposedly in the cozier difficulty levels the garden beds you make are supposed to be leech-free but I haven't had that experience.

ETA: I must have had my garden beds eaten before I switched to the slightly cozier mode; my garden beds are untouched now. I still don't need them very often unless it's to grow something that doesn't grow wild.

ETA2: Nope, if you forget to harvest your ripe crops they'll still get eaten.

Farming: In addition to the wild spawns, you can also make garden beds to plant crops. You'll need fresh water to water them, which you get by of course boiling water over the fire. A lot of stuff drops seeds when you harvest it so you're more likely to be drowning in seed packets than running out of them unless you've got a large amount of garden beds.

Fishing: Very easy. You just have to press the button in a relatively wide area 1-3 times. If you use bait, you get fish, and if you don't, you can fish to get bait or common/uncommon materials.

Crafting/building/resource gathering: You'll be doing a ton of this. A lot of the later stuff requires electricity so you'll be building bigger and fancier power generators (one takes biomass, which you can also eat, and the other kind takes solar). You have a handful of tools which auto-select (another feature I adore) according to your needs and you'll need to upgrade.

Shopping: Once you get the Smart Tower repaired, you can start hitting up merchants via a drone (you never leave your high rise). Once you meet the first one you'll get your first electricity-using blueprint (for a crypto farm) and your first generator blueprint (converts biofuel into electricity). There are other merchants you can unlock by either paying to get to a new area or upgrading the Smart Tower.

Mid-game verdict: It takes a bit of getting used to but I find that for the moment I'm enjoying it. It reminds me a little of My Time at Sandrock (another post-apocalyptic crafting game), but you're under no pressure to craft anything except for your own purposes. I can't say it's in my top ten but I genuinely do enjoy the progression of crafting better and better tools that are not in the usual mining -> refining -> upgrading route. Most of the time the few intelligent entities don't have much to say and that's all right with me.
