Probably have spent too much time getting points to get the new stuff haha. Picked up 2 mounts, a new road type, a new hairstyle, various recipes, and various decorations, along with XP orbs to help me level up Lives. Dark Don's shop is already up to level 3. It took me a bit to get used to it, but I regularly score pretty high - sometimes I get unlucky with the draws (last round required miners, I got a choice between a miner and a pickaxe, should have gone with the miner because it really helps to have 2 characters going at the boss ore).
Least favorite bits of it have to be the stupid "find the big boxes" and "find the sparkles" - in flatter/smaller areas they're tolerable, but the first time I got the big box one I was running around the lava area - lots of out of the way spaces/nooks and crannies. And of course, the first time I ran across "find the sparkles" I had no idea they meant "look for sparkles on the ground". The second time I got the big box it was in a forest and boy does the game like to stick these things in odd places.
I am really appreciating the inclusion of some Fantasy Life 3DS monsters that aren't in the new game - jellings (pretty much every single variety), both kinds of zombies from the Port Puerto area, skeletons, and mummies (both from the Aridian/Drysand Desert caves/dungeons). I've seen the boss bandit from the East Grassy Plains as an endgame boss monster. I guess the various spookies have taken the place of the wraiths.
To be honest, even with a time limit I almost prefer this over the regular game. Almost. But it fired up my interest in the game much more. I'm not much of a decorator, I love Ginormosia but not that much, and I kind of need structure. The only thing I'm doing is working on getting my wizard Life up more so I can get the ultimate skill on the skill tree.
