Yuletide noms are wacky this year.

estiroseIt used to be a bit simpler. You nominated, you made sure all the major characters were there and that was it. This year you can only nominate three fandoms with four characters from each, and there's no pregenerated tag list.
This year, I have three series I'm nominating, and I'm sure about who I'm doing for one, not so sure for the second, and really not sure for the third.
Final Fantasy II: Minwu, Firion, Maria, Leon. My favorite characters and one secondary one, because I want to have some flexibility. I know when I sign up, I'll probably specify Minwu for a character, but what I really want is any, which you can't do this year.
Forever Knight: My favorite characters are not everybody else's, which makes it hard. If I was nominating my own choices knowing that everybody else would get in, I'd choose Nat, Grace, Tracy, and Vachon. But I don't know how many people are going to nominate, and so I think I'd be better off nominating LaCroix, Janette, Nick, and Nat. And that would still leave out someone who's a FoD, or a fan of one of the captains and so on. If I specify this year, I'll probably specify Nat unless someone nominates Tracy or Vachon.
Gokaiger: I was going to choose another series to nom, but with the announcement, I want to make sure the characters I want to request are in nominations. I'm pretty sure that someone will likely nominate Marvelous, Joe, Luka, and Basco (and/or Cid). I wan to nominate Gai, Don, Ahim, and possibly someone else. Don't know who yet.
ETA: FK might be a bit big, so I'll probably either sub in another fandom I'm unfamiliar with for a friend, PR RPM, or KR Double. With Gokaiger, it looks like we mostly need the villains.
