Taiga watched as his Queen got up. She really was beautiful, he thought, and they fit together so well. The effects of the magic that had kept her from him were slowly fading, and soon she'd be the Queen she was born to be.
No matter what they said, she was his Queen from birth. While he was sure he would have loved any Queen he would have ended up with, she was special. There were things that needed to be fixed - like the hate that their mother had instilled in her - but he could fix them.
Wataru had fire, he knew, and it was time to direct that fire towards her rightful targets - the Fangire who violated the law. Not him. Not her King.
Still, his love for her would overcome anything that had gone wrong. He would love her, and she would come to love him back.
The first thing, he thought, was to get her to a doctor. Check her energy levels. Somebody had to be feeding her if she didn't hunt. Maybe this Oomura-san.
The thought of the man pissed him off. He could understand being scared of the former Queen when she was alive, but this Oomura-san should have turned Wataru over to Bishop or one of the Elders when the former Queen died. He knew one, after all. And if he didn't feel comfortable with that, he should have taught Wataru to hunt and be Fangire. None of this human nonsense! Wataru was of Royal blood, she could never be human.
He'd take her to his doctor when they got dressed, he decided. With that in mind, he started looking for their clothes, intent on having Wataru's ready for her when she came out.
