Considering doing a big bang...

I'm considing hardmode, which is a big bang for gaming fandoms. (Gee, three guesses on what game I'd be doing....) The only part I dislike about big bangs is that I tend towards really obscure fandoms, and somehow, nobody ever can do an artist match. Admittedly, I've only done one, but after having to go through the entire "no, no, don't worry about not being able to find a match for me", I'm not eager to try one again.

I'd love it if an artist matchup was entirely *optional* so that I'd feel more like "oh cool, I'm writing 10k of fic" rather than "oh, no, my fandom is too obscure for the maintainer to find me an artist".

*headdesk*

Please shut up. Dangit. Or wait until tonight, where I have "Dreamt-of Call" part 11 part written and am ready to finish up this Doctor Who fic that's been bugging me.

Do not bug me during my workday. I don't care if one of our major databases is down.
