Wibbling

Okay, I've got two organized fandom/fanfic efforts I'm interested in that have come up as of the last day or two. One is that gaming big bang; Finish-a-thon also has started up, and I make an effort to participate in it every year I can. (I've also got Remix Redux, but that's already assigned and not an issue.) I like organized efforts because I can write to a deadline, which is often what I need if the muses don't automatically swarm all over something.

( My problem is that I write in obscure fandoms and about odd topics. )

Well, some good came out of that wibbling.

I signed up again for finish-a-thon. I knew I would.

AO3 subscriptions

In case you're not subscribed to the feed for AO3, they just announced subscriptions. (I knew they were coming because I'm on the mailing lists for the coders, but I was glad to finally see them.)

They're a very new feature, and who knows, tossing forty thousand of us on them might kill AO3, but we can't do any worse than the last two years of Yuletide!

Just go to my AO3 page (estirose) and click "subscribe" if you're a registered user - you can't subscribe to anything but a user yet, but heck, it's a subscription.

(I would say "who in the heck would subscribe to me", but I think 33 people on fanfiction.net have done so, so....)
