Fic: Tearing Down To Rebuild (Virtual Villagers 5)

I love the Virtual Villagers game series to pieces (and the people at Last Day of Work rock), but Virtual Villagers 5 (VV5, as fans call it) gives me some issues. I don't mean about the gameplay, I mean the ideas presented in the gameplay.

So, this is me trying to deal with the issue I see in what would otherwise be a really nice game.

Note: This contains small spoilers on how to defeat one of the puzzles, but not more than you'd get if you wandered into the Virtual Villagers forums.

Summary: Is it right to tear down another peoples' religious symbols, even if you think they're wrong?

Up, down, up, down

So. Yesterday login on fanfiction.net seemed down period. Then it came back up today. I posted chapter 8 of "Dreamt-of Call" to the site right after I posted chapter 12 to AO3. (The ffn posting is four chapters behind the AO3 version because I started it later and don't feel like spamming the 33 or so people who get notifications in general plus the 11 that get notifications on just the story.)

Go back to post chapter 3 of "Terolalaine" to both sites. AO3 works fine. Fanfiction.net? Can't login or do anything in the login area at all. (Access stats, etc.)

Now, I had problems uploading chapter 8 - it kept telling me incompatible format - but I just uploaded chapter 3 and replaced all the text with chapter 8's.

After the whole upload problem a week or two back with popular fandoms, I was really hoping they'd gotten their act together at ffn.

ETA: Now I can login, but stats are frozen. Except number of reviews. I have now gotten about three reviews that kind of show up on my stats, but not really. (I did manage to upload Terolalaine part 3, though, so I'm happy.)
