DOINK! (The Final Fantasy Exchange)
Jun. 2nd, 2012 01:39 pmSo, the DOINK! exchange has opened. Most of it's fandoms I'm as yet unfamiliar with, so there wasn't much I could read (Other than Final Fantasy I-III and part of Dissidia, I've picked up enough canon to be able to enjoy some FF VIII fanworks, but that's it).
Still, I wanted to point those interested in the direction of my gift fic, "The Unspoken". It's a haunting story about Dr. Unne, a minor character in Final Fantasy I, and no canon knowledge is needed.
(My story, in the same fandom, is "The Flame Inside Her", which has to do with a minor character - in this case, the life of a future Boss - and is also readable without canon knowledge. The author above and I were assigned to one another, and while my story is good, their story is much better.)
If you're into Final Fantasy III, I'd recommend "Waiting on an Excuse". It could probably be read if you're not familiar with the canon, though it'll probably help more if you are. It's about Refia trying to settle back down after being a hero, and not really succeeding.
