Kind of a random memish thing.

In other words, I'm bored waiting for something to finish up on my computer, so I did a variation on a few AO3 memes. In this case, I looked at all fandoms with 4 or more fics to them and then looked to see what the top fic was. Here's all fandoms where I have 4+ fics on AO3:

I expected more of my top-hit stories would be from challenges, but that isn't actually true. I did a lot of challenging of myself, actually! Some of them are crossovers ("The Necessity of Heroes", "Keeping Up Appearances", "Breeze Twice Blown", "Something More in Common"), which would account for their hit count. If I had included all of the Fatal Frame series fics in one group, the actual highest hit would be "In The Last Remaining", a Fatal Frame II fic with 67 hits.

Possibly the most surprising top hit is "Falanta", the Esperanto-language translation of "Falling". It outdoes the original fic, and I'm not sure why.

I can tell that in 2013, I want to focus on "Burden of a Cradle", "The Unstuck Country", and "The Dreamt-of Call". Just to get them done. There are others I want to finish too.

This weekend, I hope to Get Things Done, because next weekend is full of havoc and weird bedtimes. One of the things I'd like to finish is my Yuletide fic.

In the meantime, I got to chapter 5 of Fatal Frame II, though not without one very difficult fight and way too much ducking of invulnerable ghosts. And then I got lost and the game froze (one not related to the other). Hopefully the freeze doesn't happen every time. At least I don't have to do the sliding puzzle again. Ugh.
